SAFEBOARD^® MCP (Modular Composite Panel)

SAFEBOARD^® MCP (Modular Composite Panel) is the next generation of plywood replacement for the construction industry. MCP is rated for exterior and wet-environment applications. MCP is a composite panel developed specifically to replace plywood in any application. MCP has the following benefits over regular forms of plywood:

SAFEBOARD^® MCP is easily cut, routed-out, handled, and installed. It has an incredibly strong bond to any surface using SAFEBOND Hybrid Adhesive.

SAFEBOARD^® MCP supports and bonds to all SAFEBOARD^® Products. MCP has incredible nail-holding strength, meaning it will have a safe and permanent installation once fastened to itself or a substrate.

Use MCP with OSP and BÖXT Elements for a complete SAFEBOARD^® System

MCP is designed to be seamlessly installed alongside SAFEBOARD^® OSP (Overhang Support Panel) and BÖXT Elements for countertop sub-top applications. MCP can be connected to OSP edge-to-edge using XI-Elements, and exposed edges can be finished using XC-Elements. Additionally, BÖXT Elements implemented with OSP and MCP adds an incredible amount of strength and rigidity – this leads further into a warrantied application under certain conditions.
