SAFEBOARD^® EWA (Epoxy Wall Anchor)

SAFEBOARD^® EWA (Epoxy Wall Anchor) is the first ever wall anchor designed to attach large format fabricated porcelain reinforced with FMA or FMA-MAX directly to wall studs. Because FMA and FMA-MAX add a layer of protection behind the porcelain, EWA was developed to provide a method to bypass the layer of FMA and mechanically attach the porcelain slab directly to support studs in the wall.

Once vertically mounted slabs are bonded to your wall using SAFEBOND, EWA acts as a mechanical fail-safe capable of holding up to 1000lbs.

SAFEBOARD® EWA is easily installed on porcelain slabs reinforced with FMA or FMA-MAX – route out the FMA, spread Safe Anchor epoxy, and bond EWA to slab.

Key features of EWA include:

1. Circular cutout pattern for Safe Anchor epoxy to spread evenly.
2. Screw slots for mounting through walls and into support studs.
3. Height-offset flanges to sit flush over the FMA.
4. FMA-puncturing spikes for additional strength and stability.

EWA comes in two sizes:

• 10mm EWA for anchoring porcelain reinforced with 10mm FMA.
• 15mm EWA for anchoring porcelain reinforced with 15mm FMA.
