SAFEBOARD^® FIA

SAFEBOARD^® FIA (Foam Installation Assist) is a rigid foam panel with pre-applied PSA adhesive to be installed onto fabricated slab pieces prior to installation.

SAFEBOARD^® FIA has the same implementation as SAFEBOARD^® FMA (Foam Manufacturing Assist), except it is installed onto slab pieces after fabrication and before installation. It provides your fabricated slab pieces with:

Once fabricated slab pieces have been reinforced with SAFEBOARD^® FIA, they can be handled like any other slab. There is no more need for intensive safety precautions or complex lifting systems when installing your slabs. SAFEBOARD^® FIA provides all the protection you need for handling and installing fabricated slabs.

With PSA technology, SAFEBOARD^® FIA can be installed in under 10 minutes onto your fabricated pieces. Just clean your piece’s bonding surface, peel the PSA paper, and stick it onto the slab. The bond is quick enough to handle within 30 minutes and will be fully cured within 24 hours. No need for adhesives, epoxies, or other complex, messy, bonding methods.
