SAFEBOARD^® OSP-X can support up to 25% longer unsupported overhangs than regular OSP. This means that at the same thickness of 5/8”, regular OSP can support up to a 16” unsupported overhang while OSP-X can support up to a 20” unsupported overhand. With SAFEBOARD Edge Caps installed on the edges, OSP-X can even reach up to a 24” unsupported overhang. The compressive strength, tensile strength, and bending strength of OSP-X are all improved from regular OSP.
